About ProgramOps

Built by an Operator, Not an Agency

ProgramOps exists because most startups don't need another agency selling frameworks off a slide deck — they need someone who has actually run programs inside a regulated, high-stakes environment and knows what breaks at scale.

The Story Behind ProgramOps

ProgramOps was founded by Ayush Kaistha, a Senior Technical Program Manager with 4.5+ years of experience inside fintech — spanning digital lending, customer onboarding, cloud governance, application security, and regulatory compliance.

Most of that experience wasn't theoretical. It was built inside India's one of Top 3 Bank, running programs where a missed deadline or a compliance gap wasn't just an inconvenience — it had real regulatory and financial consequences. That's where the DPDP Act stopped being a policy document to reference and became something to actually implement: consent frameworks, data processing registers, breach protocols, and audit-ready documentation, built and tested in a live, regulated environment.

That experience is the foundation ProgramOps is built on. Startups and scaleups are told to "get compliant" and "run programs properly," but very few people advising them have actually done it inside an organization where the stakes were real. ProgramOps closes that gap — bringing enterprise-grade program governance and compliance rigor to teams that can't yet justify a full-time hire, but can't afford to get it wrong either.

"I started ProgramOps because I kept seeing the same gap — startups moving fast with no program structure and no compliance foundation, until it became an expensive problem to fix retroactively. I'd rather help build it right the first time."

What We're Here To Do

Mission

To give startups and scaleups access to the same program management discipline and compliance rigor that regulated enterprises are forced to have — without the enterprise cost or headcount.

Vision

A future where "we'll figure out compliance later" is no longer a survivable startup strategy — because getting it right from day one is accessible, practical, and doesn't require a six-person PMO.

How We Think About This Work

A few principles that shape every engagement.

01

Compliance-First, Not Compliance-Later

Data protection and process governance aren't things to retrofit after a funding round or an audit scare. We build them into how you operate from the start.

02

Built to Be Used, Not Filed Away

Every framework, SOP, or dashboard we deliver is designed for a team to actually run day-to-day — not a document that looks good in a data room and gets ignored by week two.

03

Pragmatic Over Theoretical

Frameworks are a starting point, not the answer. Every recommendation is shaped around your team's size, stage, and actual constraints — not a generic best-practices checklist.

04

Direct, Senior Delivery

No account managers, no junior associates learning on your engagement. You work directly with someone who has done this work inside a regulated enterprise.

Who ProgramOps Is For

Early-to-growth stage startups (seed to Series B) who need program structure but aren't ready for a full-time TPM or Head of Ops.

Fintech, lending, and other regulated-adjacent businesses that need DPDP compliance built properly, not bolted on.

Product and engineering teams outgrowing spreadsheets and ad-hoc tracking, ready for real Jira/Confluence workflows and KPI dashboards.

Founders who want an operational partner they can bring in fractionally, on-demand, or for a single defined project.

The Journey So Far

2021

Foundation in Fintech

Began managing large-scale digital lending and onboarding programs inside a regulated fintech environment.

2023

Deep Dive into Compliance & Cloud Governance

Took on hands-on ownership of cloud cost optimization, AppSec governance, and early DPDP Act readiness work.

2025-26

DPDP Act Implementation

Led practical, ground-up implementation of DPDP Act compliance frameworks — consent management, DPIAs, breach response — inside a live regulated business.

2026

ProgramOps Launches

Took that operating experience and built it into a consulting practice, so other startups don't have to learn these lessons the expensive way.
